Better to support locally as with word getting out most online vendors will probably cancel any orders.

Was going to wait until next month to order some fun new mags.. this was the push I needed to simply buy them before distributors refuse sales despite the law not being set in stone yet.. It quickly turns once word gets out..

I needed until the end of the summer before I could get my Mp5 and FAL and all their mags :( guess those are off the table now if this pushes through the courts.

I don't disagree about stocking up but this case is headed to the Oregon Supreme Court next, then probably to the US Supreme Court. Article here. The doom may be impending but it is not upon us yet.
There are places that already won't ship here, who knows whether the remaining will continue to do so.
Falls under "better safe than sorry"....

I think we will have a new m114 law signed by Gov kotex within 3 weeks which will make the original m114 irrelevant, at least in the short term. Can't remember the bill number but it already passed the house. Edit: here is the thread on the bill:

Re scotus, the ocean state mag ban case will likely be ruled on in July 2026 (if they take up the case this Sept).

Having lived through the '94 AWB...you really can't have enough mags :p
Damn strait brother. Couldn't even get measly .22 mags of any decent capacity. It will never happen to me again.

lol remember when those were $0.50 ea for the longest time?
Or the $19.99 for pack of EG 5.45 mags with a pouch?
If I only had a crystal ball.
Last year they were $3.49 for good condition. But they sold out and now just have very good and like new. I'm fine with like new cuz I don't need 200 of them. They seem to last and last for me. 1980's timestamps.

OFF is ranting. Saying that you'd better have proof that you had those mags December 2022? Because that's when this law dropped.

Dropped you say?

On a more serious note, HB3075 also doesn't provide a newer date for when certain capacity mags are made illegal, it still says Dec 8th, 2022; so OFF does have a point, Oregon State could add on charges for possessing ""illegal"" mags purchased after Dec 8th, 2022 even if the law was put on hold

There is a bigger discussion on this. Would take a long time to explain. Without the long discussion, the bottom line is that the effective date is critical. Anyway,

1) M114 original effective date WAS Dec. 8, 2022. The Q is, is that still the current effective date after this court decision (and /or OR Supreme Court appeal)?

2) the new m114 replacement law (OR HB3075 which has not been approved by senate or signed by gov yet) also uses Dec. 8, 2022 as the effective date. The Q is, Is that date just a placeholder? Or is it a date they intend to actually use as the effective date (I don't see how they can)?
