I moved up from Florida in 10. I had to move up to the Northwest because of family problems. So here I'm trying to find my way around. So I can't seem to find a nice warm summer. But there aren't any LOVE BUGS and that is good.

    Welcome Phil!
    Takes a while to acclimate.
Originally from southern California, this place was cold and wet!
Now, 60 is a perfect to work outdoors, 70 is time to find some shade, and 80 is wishing for winter to come.

If you make it onto the east side of the Cascades you will find the heat during the summer. More heat than you can shake a stick at really. Oh, and a few more bugs...

I thought you were referencing the story of the Marine that accidentaly drove into Mexico and got arrested.

Glad your wrong turn just found you in the great PNW. Welcome.

It's a bit warmer here on the south end of the state. Yesterday it got up to a nice 96 degrees in Medford. Welcome to Oregon.

Welcome to OR! You will soon appreciate being able to draw a nice cold glass of water from the tap, most seasons.
