Oh look what I stumbled across. Remington Accelerators

I knew I had some, but not this much.

I was doing an inventory and came across a shoe box of ammo. Among other things, were these:

I think they made these for longer than most think. If you google them you can find images of ammo boxes with recent Remington branding.

I recall buying these about 35-40 years ago though.

Back then they were about $17 per box.

Funny, I started a thread a few weeks ago about the same thing! I'd never heard of them before until I saw these.

As kids with Deer/Elk Rifles, these were a fun ( albeit a little expensive) way to enjoy a day of shooting with out the recoil! They were a good training aid that allowed some one to use the same hunting rifle to learn with before season!
They also made for pretty fun varmint wackin afternoons with those hunting rifles!
