Great to find this board.
Active lifetime shooter/hunter. Former military jet driver (nickname isn't subtle is it?) and my favorite thing to do in a fighter re: ordnance was shooting the cannon. Nothing like 100 rounds/sec of 20mm to get someone's attention.
Hunt mostly in the spot/stalk tradition of the open spaces of the west. Also had experience 'down under' recently (red stag) and numerous trips to Africa including a dangerous game hunt in 2008. Going back in 2013. From prairie dogs to cape buffalo, if it's fairly chased and well taken--it's a good hunt.
