Can you really suppress .338 Lapua to a level that's safe for unprotected human hearing?

I suppose it could be .308...I think that Steyr takes either.

I sure as hell wouldn't shoot it without hearing protection.

I did a little research and those rifles are supposedly made by the NorKs right there in NorKland. It'd sure be fun to get hands on one and wring it out! My old '74 vintage Model 70 is probably more accurate!
