Slow compared to what.. as far as my .243 goes for the 100 gr , published Hornady American whitetail speeds are within feet of fps to Norma's. I personally hand load my Hornady Interlocks 100gr for best in show @ 2860 nearly 100fps below both listed speeds for their .243's albeit I have only personally clocked my hand loads and their shot in only one gun.

I can generally get at least 2950 with a 150gr bullet from a 30-06, if not 3000. Same with 100gr bullets in a 243.

Tried the norma whitetail ammo yet?hows it shoot?
There is 2 elements to choosing a mass produced factory hunting cartridge, 1) how it accurate it shoots in *your* rifle, and 2) how well the projectile performs in game from all rifles. Both hold equal value...

Only #2 is relevant when asking others if a factory ammo is best for you. My point is, by asking how it shoots is a metric of accuracy, something only you can determine by actually trying some out. If your asking how it performs on impact and dont get an answer on a public forum, thats telling of how it performs....
