US M1898 Krag Jorgensen rifle. Rifle was manufactured in 1899,but has been rearsenaled at one point as it wears a 1901 dated stock and the M1901 rear sight assembly. Rifle is in very good shape with very nice bore and has not been sporterized in any form. This rifle,although not individually recorded by the Springfield Research Service is in a serial number block of rifles that belonged to the 44th USV Infantry,that saw action in the Philippine Insurrection,immediately following the Spanish American War.
Looking to trade for a non import marked USGI M1 Carbine in nice condition (prefer Inland or Saginaw) plus cash.
