Hello and nice to meet you all. Moved here from socal about 4 years ago but because i wanted a northwest type life, so no turning Oregon into California from me!! Had my gear stored and untouched for the last 10 years as raising the kids got the best of my time and attention. With my youngest driving now, freeing up some time, and my eldest telling me in January that we're going to the range for my birthday, i got things up and running. Lubed up the XD9 and the AR and it felt great getting out there.
Since then the wife and i got a membership to the local range, i bought a Mossberg 590R, a .22 conversion kit, and just this week ordered a PSA AKV pistol with the upgraded trigger.
I enjoy very basic gunsmithing, not much more than building my ar lowers or switching out the ak trigger. I'd still only buy complete uppers lol.
Moving up here recently, and my only buddy from home selling his house in Vancouver and moving to Hawaii, socializing with like minded folks is sparce. Looking forward to learning from this community and getting to know done if the local tips and tricks. Btw, I'll post some pics on the show your guns thread.
