I do have too many guns...... that are full size 1911's in 45. It pains me to admit it, but I should probably spend our meager income on something else, i.e. the nice bolt action I found and want to catch before it disappears. This is the ORM 1991a1 that colt released in the early 1990's in the parkerized finish. Believe it or not, this was considered a lower echelon gun but the fit and finish is far (FAR..FAR) superior to my mid 2000 Gold Cup Trophy and Delta Elite. This is actually waaaayyy nicer. And, the one terrible thing on it has been fixed. I replaced the plastic mainspring housing with a nice EGW (only the best for my guns!) that ran about $85. I will include the plastic abomination that it came in case you like crappy things.
Appears to be very low round count, and I have yet to shoot or clean it. I bought second hand from the original owner (via his estate... 3 rd hand or second and one deceased hand...?) and it appears like he really took care of it. Cursary look at age brackets show a late 91/early 92 production. Very nice little gun, just dont need it (nor, in all actuality, do I need in any sense the bolt action). No trades unless wildly in my favor - but if you have something you really want rid of, and a fine 1911 in your hand, we might be able to work something out. Is better looking in person, the light was just wrong enough to make the few wear points on the finish bad when in fact they are moderate and almost not noticeable.

For the record, I was going to throw the frame under a vintage gold cup hard slide I am building as they apparently reissued the ww2 (look this up to make sure, as per my wife, I am often very wrong about most things) serials on these original 1991's.

I need $775, not a penny (or whatever astronomical value you assign your tattoo gift cards/motorcycle/misc goodwill) less. 2 mags and 2 grips included (and one crappy MSH) FullSizeRender (7).jpg FullSizeRender (8).jpg . The seller of the rifle I am looking for has mentioned interest in a high end 9mm for trade, however vague that may be (it sounded like no taurus, plastic, etc). Just found out about new gun, I will add some better pics later this evening.

for those that asked, it is a serial 278XXX gun which would age it about 91/92 in its particular vintage or a corresponding military serial originally from 1918 or so (again, as per the original post, this comes with the following caveat: I spend a short time perusing the internet for this info and, most of the time, if it is not involving naked women I usually dont expend too much effort). The above photo is a Wilson Combat custom based on one of these.
