Very nice , Colt 1911 Springfield Armory .45 acp caliber, 5" barrel, arsenal Parkerizing finished. The left of the slide shows "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY/ U.S.A." and the bursting bomb at the rear. The left side and the receiver is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" along with the bursting bomb on the receiver. The right side of the slide has the standing Eagle. Correct magazine with crimped floorplate and lanyard ring. Mint bore. Mechanical functioning is perfect. C&R OK

So is this Colt or is this Springfield? Gun says Springfield, I don't see Colt anywhere on it. What am I missing?

If a Colt, then Serial # indicates date of manufacture of late 1913 to early 1914. Cool 1911.
