It should be a 2 letter code on the bottom of the slide just in front of the dust cover, below the other proof marks, like the JK on this one:

There is no data code under the slide. According to the Serial #B327xxx, it was made in 2004.

No date code under the slide indicates this is not actually made in Germany, despite the roll stamp on the slide. Some of the parts were made in Germany then shipped to the US and assembled by SIG USA.
