Well, I picked this up just the other day. I'm had ordered it from Mazama's online site. It took awhile to get to the store. It was worth the wait though, as it was over 100 bucks less that buying one off the floor at the store. This is the first rifle I have had in about 20 years. My son keeps urging me to get an AR in 556. I just don't have a use for one of those though. So yeah, my rifle looks "scary". But it's actually just a plinker. I hope to be able to shoot it sometime this week. Might happen, might not.

Do any of you know of a mag loading tool for these? My arthritis really makes it challenging.

McFadden loader with the 15-22 magazine adapter will do the trick.

They are good rifles. I had one and enjoyed it for its easy plinking and familiar controls. You have a fine firearm there. :)

Yeah, this gun was bought as a range toy, or for slaying beer cans. I have no use currently for a real AR in 556. One of those wouldn't make a home defense gun for me. To much risk of going through an exterior wall and hitting my neighbor's house or car. I wouldn't use one to hunt with either.

I really have no need for rifles other than rimfires. I would like a lever action 22 mag. Have a year at least to get one.

The next guns on the list are, in order:

Ruger RXM
Pointer Acrius over under shotgun
HK MP5 22 LR
Henry lever action 22 mag
Walther PP
Savage lever action in 300 Savage

I'm pretty much done with high cap pistols, but I might buy another Beretta 92 of some flavor if I can score one at a low price. Maybe a Glock 17 as well if priced right.

I can't help with the mag loading. Mags are one of the weakest points of this gun imo. It accepts echo sport binary trigger (if you remove the trigger lock) which is cool. Here's a 10 round burst.

Yeah I did notice the mags were kind of cheesy. I with they would have done a smaller metal mag and mag well. I bought six mags for it. They were cheap, around 22 bucks each. I may get a few more if I have time.

When the mags for the HK MP5 22 are back in stock, I will get some of those and then buy that gun as well. These are just fun guns.

These are great rifles for the $ also. $349 now was $550, next year they will likely be over $600 cuz they are discontinued. I have the pistol version which has been great. All metal and extremely high quality mags.

G36 is same innerds but it costs $520. G36 was $1100-$1700 on gun Brinker last year since it was discontinued in 2015. Gen 2 was released this year so now prices are back to normal.

There may be a lot of Glock 17's coming to market as LEO trade-ins. Glock has announced that they are discontinuing the 17 ( and dozens of others) to focus on updated/upgraded models. Stand by for some good Glock deals soon!

They are discontinuing the G17 MOS Gen 4 and 5 but they are still producing G17 Gen 5 from what I can see on their discontinued list.

The MP5 22 I am looking for is the pistol, with or without brace.
