Agreed. I heard she was actually a more technically gifted skater than Kerrigan, but I don't know anything about the sport.

I had also never really followed the sport till this all hit the fan. Then I did read that she came up with some moves on the ice that were game changing type talent. Then as more came out about how she grew up it was amazing how far she went.

It was her "boy toy", Jeff Gillooly that came up with the idea. I didn't remember that it was her "bodyguard" Shawn Eckardt who did the swingin. And ovbiously botched the job, as Nancy was able to compete and still win.

I completely forgot about that, until you mentioned it. It was also before she got a boob job. For a while Bushwackers in Tualatin was a hangout of hers. I wonder if there was any connection?

Kerrigan was not able to compete in the US Nationals because of the attack. Tonya Won the Nationals with Kwan coming in Second. Kerrigan was able to recover and went to the Olympics along with Harding and Kwan as an Alternate. Harding basically fell apart at the Olympics.

Harding denied any involvement in the planning of the attack, but later pleaded guilty to conspiring to hinder the prosecution.
