What kind of sights did you have put on it? for my old eyes the peeps are the only way to shoot accurately. DR
Hello Maxson, my name is Jude, I live south of Eugene. I have never owned a Sharps but have always been impressed with them. They are famous for their long-range accuracy, among other things. Best introduction to them for me was the fiction western movie "Valdez is coming!" made around 1970, starring Burt Lancaster as an aging Constable in Arizona and former scout against Apache Indians, but now fighting some lawless "regulators" in the employ of a rich jerk. The movie is technologically accurate and a very cool tale!I am from Tillamook OR, and have a Shiloh Sharps # 1 Sporter that will be at arriving soon, relatively new to fire arms and the Sharps is the first rifle of this type that I have owned. Looking for Sharps owners near that might be able to give me some pointers, thanks
You know, it's kind of an unwritten consideration here, that a board member show some "Good" pictures of such a gun? Please?#130 Vernier Tang Sight with a Hadley eye piece and a #113 Spirit Level Non-Windage Sight, the Tang is the short range, with my eye sight not planning on any long range shooting
