At least two of us here are VERY interested in your Enfield - the second rifle up for those not in the know. Please tell us about it on the BP section, and if it's real, so much the better, but if it's a Parker-Hale replication, I'd appreciate knowing the serial number and with or without the letter H in front of it.

I have a lee enfield, 1917, #1 mk111, it is having head space problems, case separations. Is there a fix?

Yup. The bolt head on the Lee-Enfield rifle is interchangeable to 'take up the slack' of headspace on a worn component. What number is on YOUR bolt head, and are you able to source, first of all, a headspace gauge, and next, the next size bolt head?

In my understanding, only the #4s have the interchange bolt head, the #1s were not made to interchange

There is no number on my bolt head. I purchased a #1 bolt head on ebay. It threaded in but would not align with the receiver when threaded in all the way
