Hello I'm Ross -
I collect, repair, and shoot primarily C & R rifles - particularly Lee-Enfields, Schmidt-Rubins, and other 1st world war bolt action rifles

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

Once we're able to start using the public lands again, check out the organized clean ups. It's the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly.

[Edit- We are doing non ODFW supported cleanups at public forests] - check the North Fork Wolf Creek Road thread in resources.

Until then check out Trash No Land.

Welcome from UK. I've got a few rifles that come under your heading, but you'll never get to work of them - sorry.

At least two of us here are VERY interested in your Enfield - the second rifle up for those not in the know. Please tell us about it on the BP section, and if it's real, so much the better, but if it's a Parker-Hale replication, I'd appreciate knowing the serial number and with or without the letter H in front of it.

Yup. The bolt head on the Lee-Enfield rifle is interchangeable to 'take up the slack' of headspace on a worn component. What number is on YOUR bolt head, and are you able to source, first of all, a headspace gauge, and next, the next size bolt head?

Velzey is your man, I bleeve.
