I am pleased to find this website and forum. I have already taken advantage of a couple of resources found here and am appreciative of the community.
I have been shooting for over 50 years and an NRA Life Member for 40 years. I was an action pistol competitor in the early 1980's and started shooting IPSC/USPSA right when the .38 Super compensated guns came on the scene. My first competition pistol was a Clark Bowling Pin model .45 made by Jim Clark senior in 1982 with his original compensator design, on an Essex frame with his signature stippling. I still have that pistol and it still shoots better than I can.
My move from Texas where I was born and lived for 62 years to western WA has been a little jarring in terms of guns and the politics here. But I have found some great clubs and joined one where I definitely found "my people". I look forward to a few more years of enjoying rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting, and enjoying the discussion and resources here.
