Love the site and all of the info! Starting to get into building ARs as a hobby, was hoping to find a site like this.

Cheers!
I built this one from a PSA kit I won in a drawing on this forum. Lot's of folks here will help you with any questions or issues.

Score! Good looking AR! I have a 7.62x39 build in the works (my first), just waiting on the upper from Radical. Hopefully I see it before winter hits.....Lead times on parts right now is totally ridiculous. Will definitely be asking questions when things start coming together.

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

Plenty of good information and lively conversations.

Definitely the best place to hang out on the internet.

'Building your own AR.......................'

Untold bliss and totally unimaginable here in UK. :(

Sigh...................................................................................
Going to be unimaginable here in the future as well if this younger generation maintains this fascination with socialism/marxism. Hoping the pendulum swings back soon to some sort of normalcy.

Yes, I own The Proficient Marksman Ammuntion Company here in Creswell.

That is awesome! I just checked out your store. I am primarily looking to start for my .308 and .223 but heck, why not throw in a 9mm. Just started looking into doing this on my own but I am not near ready to pull the trigger on all the purchases. I see you mentor/train people. Perhaps I can become a customer or mentee.

I found this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/reloading/comments/bctl5w/handloading_308/ektedaj?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

as a starting point outside of this site. New here (just purchased a .308) and now I am getting orientated with the sites references. Everyone seems great.

You question really ought to read, is there anybody here who does NOT reload?

LOL I know, right? Ammo is expensive. My hope was to find some people who would want to help a noob out locally. Not sure if there is a Eugene club that I could ask questions and share equipment with (once I get some).

Do we all need our own setup or could it be something I could share with some friends?

You are welcome to ask me reloading questions, I don't know it all but might have picked up a clue or two in the 40 years I've been doing it. You are also welcome to stop by and see what I've got going on. I'd say you should have your own set up that way you can make your own ammo your way in your time.
