Hello!
Greetings from Czech Republic. I'm excited to join the forum. Looking forward to learn, share my experience and sell CZ spare parts.
Welcome. I hope you can share your knowledge of Czech Republic gun culture. I understand it's one of the more open across Europe. I've been to Prague twice in the past 2 years and appreciated the history and culture there.

Welcome. CZ, Canal Zone? Oh, Czechia, I get it. Or CZ, Ceská Zabrojovka. My Windows version won't respond to an ALT Code for the Hachek Coron (little "V" over C).

There used to be a little strip of the United States running across Panama. It was called the Canal Zone, or CZ. It was a real place.

Thank you all for your warm welcome messages. We've all heared about the legend CZ (česka zbrojovka) guns. I think no big expectation from my side. I would be happy to share my experience where needed and also learn from experts.

Recently a CZ83 came my way. I don't know anything about it except the trigger guard looks a bit strange. It came with 9mm Makarov ammo. Is the CZ83 any good?
CZ 83 is one of the best CZ pistol and still good to own one. I love it because of the steel frame and large mag. capacity. It weight 800g which is too heavy to carry all day and most of the spare parts are scarce to get in the market. You can read more about it here.

Welcome Aboard. Glad you found the forum.

This is the best place to hang out on the internet.

I know that you're not in the Oregon/ Washington area but we've found the best way to meet the community and learn where and how to use public lands responsibly is through grass roots involvement.

Welcome ! We're CZ fans in this house. Wifey shoots a CZ-75B 9mm Stainless. I have a CZ SP01 in .40 S&W. And I also have a CZ clone, Tanfoglio Elite Limited 9mm. Love the design of the CZ hand guns. I would love to have a CZ 83 in .32 acp, or something similar but much older.
My father was Hungarian.

Welcome! Your part of the world sure knows how to make good guns. Have several CZ derivatives and would love to get a Bren 3 when they come out (tempted to get a Bren 2 11" but I think I'll wait for Bren3). Also have guns from Slovenia and Slovakia which are great designs, extremely high build quality and attention to detail. Also Austria, Germany, Swiss which kinda goes without saying good design and quality. Sold my Polish gun but it was great also.
