Just got a Coonan .357 mag and have taken it out to the range. Nice gun, no problems. Grip is long but that's expected. On yeah!

I ordered it Monday from a vendor at GunBroker, shipped it to ARPC (yep, they have an FFL) & arrived Thursday. Price on GunBroker was $1419; with shipping and 3 percent charge for credit card it was a bit over $1500.

I had an original model B. Nice workmanship, easy to shoot with 158 grain loads. 125 grain Remington's were a bit more recoil, about on par with a .45 ACP. The downside is that it really is only a novelty gun. It's big, heavy and has limited magazine capacity. Parts and magazines are proprietary. If you want .357 Magnum power in an automatic, get a .357 SIG. Here is a vid of me shooting mine. As a unique collectible and just plain fun to shoot gun, it's great. :)
