I have a Sako Finnfire 94 (pre-quad). When I was retightening the bolts that keep the barrel secure one broke off about halfway in. Tried left handed bits, extractors, all the usual stuff and it wouldn't budge. Was able to drill through, hoping I could collapse it, but no luck. At this point it is probably going to need to be drilled out and re-tapped and I would rather hand it off to someone else. Recommendations for the greater portland area would be greatly appreciated.

1. Slept on it before I went crazy and really f'd it up. :)

2. In the morning I widened to hole through the bolt with a drill bit then used the biggest extractor bit that would fit in without touching the theads and slooowly twisted the tap handle until it broke loose. Threads all the way through are okay!

I think the biggest help was step 1. Just letting the frustration pass before trying again kept me from rushing things.
