Well looks more like the top one, but is glossy like the bottom one. Can't tell on the top one, but I have checkering on my current forend. Where did you find those on e-bay? Did they show cost?

Just type in Browning A-500 12 gauge forend and they will pop up.

The upper one says this in the decription

" New, aftermarket is finished, walnut. May require minor fitting.
Will only fit the A-500 GAS Model...Not the A-500 R"
