Nabbing the Forest Gun Goons

As anyone who shoots up in our forests knows, we have a contingent of slobs, sign shooters and even murderers that leave their work for all to see.
It's almost impossible to catch them.
But I think that there is a way to catch a few.
LE agencies are cash-strapped, but somehow Fish & Wildlife finds a way to set up their iconic, stuffed deer poacher stings each year.

So you see where I'm going.
To you LE out there, why not acquire a "Deer Crossing" road sign, the one with the leaping deer symbol and set up a similar type sting ?
What Sign-Shooter could pass up a Deer Crossing sign ?

You may even catch the murderers.

I like it when I see a sign with a bullet hole. Anyway, even with the bullet hole, the sign still functions as intended. What I don't like are signs with graffiti, but I suppose that dislike is merely a matter of personal taste.
