If the action arms are "permanently" attached to the forearm, it most likely came off a Maverick-88... I can't tell you if it'll work on a M500 or not, but I suspect it will.

Some of the cheaper Mossberg 500 variants also came with these. Nothing really wrong with them except they're just not as robust as the separate action tube and foreend.
