I am trying to find some information on a rifle all I know is that it is a Mosberg 42m s-l-lr. I only have one pic for the moment and will get any other markings tomorrow you guys are always resourceful.

So...
42 was a "base model" for Mossberg...lots of different .22 rifles of theirs...have 42 in the model name.
The early 42 bolt actions feature a "T" handled bolt...you have a later one.
The M ...is for the full length stock..."Mannlicher".

As @Andy54Hawken said Havelin is a great source. Youtube has many videos on these .22 rifles. Capthal 1947 has a couple videos on the history of each. They shoot great. In my opinion the 42 shoots the best. The 51 and 151 shoot great but are finicky. Here is a picture of mine.

I went to the range with my son today and we brought the 42m and wow it is a shooter ! It is like you don't even have to try to hit stuff tons of fun and well 22's are cheap to shoot . I was looking there is enough meat/real estate to have it threaded so may just do that and use my 4 inch 22 suppressor with standard velocity ammo .
