I've always wanted one of these, finally had the opportunity to get one. Not a lot of room for improvement but I tried. I love the look of the factory grip, but it was just a bit too small for me, and the gun felt very front heavy, so I replaced it with a hogue g10 one, which is a fair bit heavier with finger grooves and helped tremendously. I polished all the contact points and deburred what I could find, de-power Wolff spring kit, and have the frame a slight polish as well. Loving the way it shoots so far, haven't seen anyone modify one of these, but I'm having fun with it. Nice set up! I've always liked the looks of the Match Champion. I recently picked up a little brother to yours, a GP100 10-shot in .22LR. Well, I guess it's not so little other than the smaller bore. I slicked up the trigger a bit, as the DA pull would benefit from improvement. It shot real well on my first outing last weekend, with 3-4 hundred rounds of ringing steel

NICE! I've been jonesing for a GP 100 for about a year, but the standard model, not the MC, I just like the look and feel of the regular model with a 6" barrel a bit better. Keeping my eyes open for a good deal, but no one has dropped on in my lap yet ;). Later.

Dave, keep on eye on GB. I got a good deal on a DEALER DEMO that was perfect. Bought it for my Real Estate agent/shootin friend when she sold my house for zero commissions!
