I'm testing the waters on this one here before anywhere else.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my beautiful Ram 1500 truck. I'm looking for 10k cash, or 10k trade value. You won't find another truck like this anywhere as I've tried to find another one to price it, and I just can't find it. There's not a single other 4x4 manual long bed 1500 for sale right now.

This truck is in immaculate shape both mechanically and physically. Yes it does have a couple dings on the body, but I'd be willing to bet it has less dings and scratches than a 2018 model!

The intetior is prestine. No rips tears scratches stains anything.

It has had over 10k in work this year (WITH RECEIPTS). I take very good care of my rigs and have the paperwork to prove it.

Details-
-1998 Ram 1500 Laramie SLT
-4x4, 5 speed manual trans, manual transfer case.
-119k miles

There are 3 things wrong with this truck.
#1- the FM radio does not work. AM radio works fine and all speakers are fine. Mechanic says the factory radio unit is probably the issue.
#2- the drivers side rear tail light housing has a hole crack in the plastic cover you can see from the photos. A replacement is 25 dollars. Might just fix this before the sale.
#3- the passenger side door key hole was drilled out. Not sure when, think it was on my 2k mile trip this summer but I didn't notice it until I got home. Door still locks and unlocks fine with the fob but a key doesn't work in it. And they didn't get into the truck so I assume they didn't drill it right!

That's it. Runs and drives so perfectly.
Here's a list of what has been done in the last year. You'll be impressed.

-Passenger and driver side wheel bearing hub assembly
-Manual Transmission Fluid Service
-Track Bar Replacement
-Replace and Upgrade Steering Gear Box assembly
-circuit troubleshooting (bad wire shorted out, causing check engine light, see repair order for detail)
-Air conditioning service (refrigerant)
-Clutch Replacement
-BG MOA and full synthetic oil change service
-Engine Oil pan gasket and rear main seal Replacement
-Battery terminal replacement
-air filter
-replace serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pulley
-brake fluid service
-replace differential housing gasket
-transfer case service
-spark plugs, wires, ignition cap, igniton rotors
-front and rear suspension
-replace both front stabilizer bar links
-CAT converter inspection
-drive belt Replacement
-starter assembly Replacement
- Passenger side license plate light and housing
-clutch master and slave cylinder Replacement

I want to make it clear that ANY vehicle trades would need to be in a similar operating condition and similar body condition. I am not going to get rid of this truck for junk. So please before you offer, make sure it's in similar condition.

Trades-
OLDER Tacoma in similar condition
OLDER f150/250 in similar condition
Diesels, cash on my end depending
Jeeps broncos and runners

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
The Achilles of these older Dodge models was always the craptastic automatic transmissions the factory dropped in.

This one is manual, which bypasses that problem entirely.
