Mid Grade AR15 Barrel Choice For Comparing Cheaper Barrel Performance.

I have an abundance of cheap AR15 Barrels in 5.56 & 223 Wylde. I am thinking about picking up a higher grade barrel to use for comparing the accuracy of the cheaper barrels.

Has anybody here had much experience with Criterion chrome lined barrels. I am close to pulling the trigger on this HBAR barrel for $260 shipped. That is more than I would like to spend but I think this barrel would have a very long life, being chrome lined.
