The previous owner believed this one was made in 1987.

Subtract the first two numbers of the serial number from 100........that will give you the year. Your gun is one of many different models of the Model 60 Limited Production variants.
Model number changed and stock Medallion were added...........same great quality as the standard model 60.....A few had Walnut Stocks also.

That method would make it a 1989 production.
