I just traded for a marlin 39a lever action 22 and am trying to learn some more about it. Really I'm just trying to figure out why some cost so much more than others. I'm finding them from 300 to 800. Mine is a V code gun so is from 1961. And I keep reading that the 60's ones are the desirable ones but don't know why? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
