Marlin 336 44 magnum

I saw a 336 in .44 Magnum at the Arms Collectors of Southwest Washington gun show yesterday. I probably should have grabbed it but I am perpetually short of dinero.

The "pre-haggle" price was $600+. I did not handle it but I did not notice any scratches or dings in it either.

Why do you believe it won'tshoot 44 special? If they feed, they'll go bang... just not as big a bang.

It is a long action that has been re-engineered to feed a round half as long. It will feed 44 special but it may cause problems if not done just right. As well as the usual shorter round carbon ring in chamber causing longer rounds to stick in the chamber.
