WTS WA Marlin 1894CS .357 Mag JM stamp

Marlin 1894CS lever action .357 Mag or .38 Special with 18" non-ported barrel and JM stamp (original Marlin), American black walnut straight-grip stock and cross-bolt safety. Has the factory sling studs and recoil pad installed. Rifle is in good condition with some minor marks on the stock and some marks on the left side of the action.

Update: another member asked some specific questions about the Marlin so I'm adding the info for anyone else that might be interested.

• Serial #0800---- which indicates a 1992 year of manufacture
• Barrel is stamped "Micro-groove barrel"
• It has a cross-bolt safety that can be seen in the pictures

Update: after chatting with another member who follows the JM stamped Marlin market, I'm dropping the price to $695 Cash OBO. I've not looked at the .357 Marlin market in a few years, so it was challenging to figure out the current value. Appreciate any feedback from those of you who know Marlins.
