And left without a "Forum guideline" compass to steer by, will assume there are no rules...

There are rules here and they will shut you down if you are not on good behavior. Just be respectful of others, if you don't agree with someone, keep the thread and convo's clean, like if your little kids were to get on here and read it. This is a great place. Its a good environment for learning and also sharing with others. Some threads and some people will have you biting your tongue, just make sure you keep a good firm hold on it. You'll learn to walk away from some threads and people, but that's how it is in real life too. Sometimes with some people here, I will say something or question something and then take it over to another site I frequent. You got to laugh here sometimes and just nod your head. I do have a complaint though. My emojies aren't working!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What's up with that? Mods, oh mods....

Honor, respect, transparency.

Mods here aren't looking for things to pick anyone's ads apart. We are watching to make sure everyone has the same playing field.

We also keep an eye out for scammers and ads that contain illegal content. We wish to keep that content off of this site to keep any well meaning member from falling into a situation that strips them of their rights.

Im the furthest from being a "Douche", you will encounter when dealing with transactions on the intardnet...others here don't appear to be nearly as responsible....hence my query sir.

I know how to conduct business, been buying and selling on the intardnet for 20+ years....

But there are retards on this forum that have no integrity...and I want to know what rules the marketplace adhears to...period.

I dont pfuk anyone, never have, never will...my 26 documented transactions here prove that...
But others need to be held accountable for being a "Douche"...
Or is that mods just lock the threads of their douche friends??

Kinda sounds like you're coming off with quite the attitude? I've been here as long as you have and I haven't encountered even one "Douche". And I have three times the transactions. I never even read the rules for the classifieds, just used common sense. Maybe you're just too sensitive for this forum and the fun loving people that inhabit it?

You posted an "I'll take it" about three hours after the ad posted. You've got to be quicker with the PM on such a deal. I shouldn't think any one would have to tell you that with the years you have here.

Or, maybe you're just trolling for a reaction?

1. Members must comply with local, state, and federal laws at all times

It is up to individual members to comply with all laws at all times. Please remember, it is never legal to sell firearms across state lines without the involvement of an FFL.

2. Do not remove information from your ads

You may edit your ads to update information. Do not remove information from your ads (descriptions, photos, price, etc), even if the ad is no longer active.

3. No thread-crapping

Thread-crapping occurs when a member posts negative comments in another members classified ad. If you believe there is a problem with the ad either start a conversation with the seller or report the post for moderation.

4. All want to sell ads are required to have a price

We require all want to sell ads have the price of the item clearly stated. Auction style listings are not allowed.

5. Follow through once you commit to a purchase, sale, or trade

Once you commit to a deal you should do your best to follow through. Members who flake on deals will likely receive negative feedback, which will not be removed.

6. Ads are to be posted only in the classified section of the site

Do not post ads anywhere except the proper classified section.

7. Required fields must be filled out correctly

All required fields must be filled out honestly and correctly with the proper information for each field.

8. Create separate ads whenever possible

Creating a separate ad for each item you have for sale makes it easier for people to find the ad when using the classified filters.

9. You are required to lock your ad once it is no longer active

When a member locks their ad it lets others know it is no longer active and removes it from the list of ads.

10. General questions not specific to an ad should be asked in a discussion section, not within a classified ad

The classified section is not the appropriate place for item discussion. Instead, create a new thread in the appropriate discussion section.

11. Creation of two or more ads for the same item is prohibited

No member is to have more than one ad for the same item at the same time.

12. Creation of fake, comedic, or satirical ads is prohibited

No member is to post an ad for an item they do not actually have for sale or are looking to buy. No member is to post an ad for the purpose of comedy or satire.

13. If you lock an ad and decide to re-post the item, you must wait 7 days

Locking an ad and then re-posting the item within 7 days is prohibited. Members may re-open locked classified ads.

14. All group buys must be approved by the staff before being posted

Group buys are prohibited without express permission from Joe Link.

15. No member may post items in the Great Deals section which they are selling themselves
