Hi,
I am selling a much sought after rifle. In this condition and caliber it becomes a rare find.
I will post a few pictures here to show condition. Detailed photos available upon request via PM.
Model: 1956
Caliber: .257 Roberts
The condition of this rifle is stunning, the old world blueing is deep and polished. The wood stock is in spectacular shape, uncut and incorporates the original butt pad. The hand cut checkering is true and sharp. There is very little that makes this rifle from being perfect. There is one blemish in the blueing, picture included of said mark above the "Puch" lettering. That is the extent of what I see.
This rifle truly is a work of craftsmanship. They do not make them like this anymore.
This rifle shows true and for being made in 1956 you would be hard pressed to find one in nicer condition. I do not know the number of these produced in .257 Roberts but I do know this, I have shot, collected and owned my fair of Steyr's during my life and the .257 is extremely uncommon. This is the nicest one I've seen.
I will travel for the right deal.
I am always open to unique and interesting trades, including gold, silver and ammo.
