I'm mixed on this to be honest. Magpul mags are good, certainly better than a magazine that's been tossed around, but there's nothing wrong with aluminum magazines either.

That being said, I'll forever have the aluminum 20 round mags in my AR. Not a single failure with em.

Interesting. Such a contract is a nice endorsement.

Though I've, generally, stuck to aluminum mags, I've never had any problems with the Magpul line. They seem like a fine product.

I have a lot of Magpul Gen 1 & 2...maybe Gen 3 magazines, Hexmags, some other plastic mags, some unknown metal mags, D&H steel mags, and Brownell aluminum mags (the best aluminum mags) The wife says we have too many...how could that be?

Beats me. I'm not entirely convinced it is possible to have too many mags.

I don't think it's possible to have too many mags, jus like it isn't possible to have too much ammo.
