I'm mixed on this to be honest. Magpul mags are good, certainly better than a magazine that's been tossed around, but there's nothing wrong with aluminum magazines either.

That being said, I'll forever have the aluminum 20 round mags in my AR. Not a single failure with em.
 
Interesting. Such a contract is a nice endorsement.

Though I've, generally, stuck to aluminum mags, I've never had any problems with the Magpul line. They seem like a fine product.

I have a lot of Magpul Gen 1 & 2...maybe Gen 3 magazines, Hexmags, some other plastic mags, some unknown metal mags, D&H steel mags, and Brownell aluminum mags (the best aluminum mags) The wife says we have too many...how could that be?
