I have 2 or 3 but others may want to know. Is the stock original or does it have the bayonet cut. When the 38's were refurbished some stocks were replaced with M44 stocks.

It says it in the first post. It has been refurbished with a wartime M44 stock, so it has the bayonet cut.

I'm honestly not sure, I got it like this. I'm pretty sure it has some sort of sealer but it isn't shiny and doesn't look like it's been stained.

Oh how I miss this thing.

The stock was stripped, sanded lightly and its got about 15 applications of Tung Oil... Still looks nice.
