It is indeed an M38 stock, not cut for a bayonet. You should just give in and take it off my hands

We both know a year from now I will find I should have bought it. I'v 2-3 38's at this moment, but have someone else looking for a carbine and will pass on the info. Until then I'll bang my head on the table for passing this up.
