M1A M14 military stock-plastic/fiberglass?

I know nothing about this stock and what exactly it's for. Came with a Springfield M1A NM I bought new 20 some years ago. For some reason Springfield included this in the box. Looks to be in good solid condition. Guessing the 140 is a rack number or similar. Cleaning out stuff I know will never use. Don't know what it's worth so will start out at $80 and go from there. You'll probably have better luck selling on m14forum.com and probably get a little more than $80 for it. Do some research on the forum for old posts to gauge your items worth.

Most likely. However, I don't have a box anywhere near the right size to ship it and was hoping for a local sale to avoid trying to find one and save the hassle.
