Older El Monte CA US RIFLE. This is a well kept and perfectly maintained, 4 digit serial, the one you've been saving your coin for! This rifle also has the bayo lug.
Serial number 6684 - Well before the introduction of communist bloc parts and the demise of this once proud company. Estimated YOM is 1989-1990. Round counter is broken on this one but the barrel looks like new. 1 magazine and the sling are what's included. I recently bought this from a 40+ year retired Idaho LEO and this was his go-to .308. He sold it to me to fund another project.
I am asking $1,700 but am not unreasonable if you want to propose something other than that. The only trade items I might entertain are old Colt pistols - M1902, M1903 Pocket Hammer, M1905, M1911/M1911A1 up to 70 series. They would need to be extraordinary as I have been collecting, or some say hoarding, fine John Moses Browning format semi autos for years.
