This is an H&R Garand built in 54-56. It's in really good condition has been at least as accurate as I am :)

Comes with 482 Rounds of M2 surplus ammo; 250 loose and 232 in clips and bandoliers.

  1. I agree to the classified rules and terms of service
Good lookin post war mixmaster with M2 ball. Somebody needs to grab this quick! Shoot up that ammo save a few enblocs, the rest along with the bandoleers and cardboard inserts will fetch a good penny on eBay. That's how I make a little money back on the cans of Lake City M2 Ball I pick up. GLWS

Looks like an awesome shooter and Garands are getting harder to find.

Out of curiosity, did your father rebuild this one or purchase it in this condition? It's an interesting mix of parts: H&R post Korean War-era receiver, milled trigger guard, Springfield barrel and op rod, and an International Harvester bolt. If the trigger guard is Winchester, then you've got all the manufacturers represented!

Just curious if this was a military armorer's work or if it was civilian-assembled from viable parts. GLWS!

It was a military armorer. He had gotten this through the CMP years ago. Thanks
