This is a very nice mid war Winchester M1 carbine that has all Winchester parts. More pics and parts list available to serious buyers. There is no rearsenal mark on the stock and no import mark.
The type 2 high wood stock has the proper cartouche on the right side. The recoil plate and screw are Winchester marked. The butt plate is the late style Winchester pattern. I have not been able to find a maker code on the type 2 handguard. The type 1 barrel band has 3 weld marks. The trigger housing and all related small parts are Winchester coded. The barrel has the W stamped near the front sight and there is no mark from a post war type 3 barrel band. The bore is shiny. Both sights are Winchester. The type 2 rear sight has the H in the shield symbol. I will include a nice USGI blued BW code Winchester 15 rd. magazine.
