You should be able to change all of the parts yourself, just look for the videos on YouTube, etc...

If you lived closer, i could show you how to rebuild the rifle, it is easy, once you learn how.

Don't pay a gunsmith to work on your 10/22. Like M67 said check out the youtube videos. Working on a 10/22 is like playing with Lego's. Don't be intimidated, just have fun with it.

Hammer and sear will be the most work, but still VERY easy. Hell while it's apart you should also drill and tap, add soem set screws and go all out.

If you can take it apart, you can put it back together.
IF you need an "instructional video" for that, stop buying parts all together and only have a gunsmith do everything for you.
