I've lived in Oregon my whole life and am an avid outdoors kind of person. I bookmarked NW Firearms a while ago and is my go to forum for any information regarding Oregon and Washington carrying. I'm 23 so new to concealed carry but familiar with the firearms my family has had since I was a kid. I have a small range at a family members house so I tend to go shooting there often but am always looking for new places to check out and learn more about local laws and best practices.

I mostly keep up on my defensive carry, so my range time is shooting steel with my carry gun (Shield 9mm) at various ranges. I do some skeet shooting and have fun planking with my ruger 10/22. I'm looking into getting something heavier like a .308 or 5.56 in the future but I have been prioritizing keeping up on my handgun skills.
