I love this time of year, have been watching these little guys battle it out for a week. NW region's Sammamish, WA just beat the SW region's Corpus Christi, TX team 8 to 4!!!!Way to go NW!!!

When I see Little Leaguers playing I think back of the days when I was a star pitcher!!! I would much rather watch these kids slug it out than the big leagues, they have way more emotion and determination than the overpaid union players.

Sammamish is still in it. They play tonight at 8 pm!!!!

I have never really had anything good to say about Mexico but their team played an awesome game to beat Panama to advance to meet Japan for the chance to play the American champion.

Rain prevented play tonight. Bummer
