Slade is now 6 months old, starting to sit up and starting to get on all 4s but not yet crawling, rolling around as he pleases, he is doing awesome and is generally a very happy hearing boy! Jennica, she is confirmed to be on the Autism spectrum according to Willamette Educational Services District case worker and other specialists, but not yet "medically diagnosed". They are saying home schooling might be a great option for her. She loves animals, loves repeating patterns, lining toys up, exploring the outdoors, climbing things which gives us heart attacks sometimes... and she likes daddy's gear and sewing machines but isn't communicative enough to teach her sewing yet. (Significant communication delays, likely due to autism). She however does understand a lot of our signs, just she doesn't communicate back most of the time. She is starting to get used to her little brother, but still not 100% into him like most siblings (I still blame my mother, she gave her a life sized creepy doll for her second Christmas and traumatized her)
