Being a disabled Marine and loving the firearms community since I was little one of my best memories is when I was building guns so now that I'm out I decided to start building military clones to the closest Spec I possibly can using all the same parts as the federal government except for three pin receivers obviously. I just finished my M4 that I was issued in the military I can't decide what to do next let's see what you guys got.

A little more old school than you were thinking perhaps, but here's the 03a4 I built. Not an a4 receiver, bolt, or scope, but the stock, bases, and rings are original.

I don't build military-clones. That would imply that I am building "military-style" weapons.

I build long guns. ;)

not my fault the military builds stuff with similar/same manufacturers parts. that just means the part is good.

This little AR-15 SBR that I built is reminiscent of early shorties.

And I built an SBRed/suppressed clone of the vz61. The bad news it is semi-auto only. The good news is the silencer is better than the original. :s0114:

A "Clone" I built of spare parts , I had laying around the shop.
My idea of a "Trade Pistol"...as in a general purpose pistol built for the use in the Fur Trade.
A L&R flintlock , that I converted to percussion...this was often done "back in the day."
An old chunk of rifle barrel , that had already been cut down , .54 caliber...
Maple stock , cut , shaped and finished , by hand , from a old piece of wood...
I think the hammer and side plate of the pistol , may be old as in 19th century...
In any event I think it looks good and I know it shoots good.
