Up for sale is a very well cared for Les Baer (Hillsdale) Tactical Defense Pistol (TDP) in .45 with the original Dupont Teflon finish (Bearcoat).
The Les Baer Tactical Defense Pistol (TDP) was a limited run of 100 pistols distributed through a collaboration between Les Baer and American Tactical Systems in 1997. It is considered by many to be one of the finest commander sized 1911's ever produced.
Each pistol has a minimum of 40 hours custom gunsmithing to achieve perfect fit and function.
Round count is very low, as the slide to frame fit is still very snug but does not stick in battery.
The beavertail fit is excellent as well, no lateral movement and does not rub on frame....yes, it slingshots!
This pistol features the following upgrades:
•All standard Premier II features
•Commanche length
•Tactical de-horning
•Non-ambi extended combat safety
•Rear Heine style low-mount, combat adjustable sight
•Front sight narrowed and dovetailed
•Trijicon front sight
•Serrations on top of slide 30 lpi
