Picked up this piece recently, condition is fantastic.
Can anyone tell me about the history of the rifle? I see originally it was a Lithgow No3, but I am not familiar with Enfields.
The finish, or lack of, is what has me curious, it appears to never have been finished, the wood appears raw and markings are clear and sharp.
Any info welcome as I be a bit ignant on this one.
