hello, am sorry to say that the rifle is not from the 50's .
I collect them, and that one is from somewhere in the mid 80's , not an early Siles, which has a blued bolt.

it is still a very nice one, and well worth the price-

Chinese imports of semi-auto AK's , were for US market, and started around the mid 70's

I was trying to locate some more info, but it is buried some where on my computer-( go figure), have to much gun data! LOL

anyway, Norinco was formed in the 70's, as a way to fund the Chinese PLA, through arms sales in US, until they got in to some trouble and folded here. still are active in arms sales and manufacture over seas.
