I have a used Kimber Pro Carry II that is two tone, black slide , silver body. It was also upgraded by the previous owner into a steel frame.

I added tru glo night sights and g10 grips. I also have a bag of extra springs and parts not shown.

small marks by front of sight

comes with 4 mags , 3 novak and 1 armscor.

asking 700.00 and buyer pays transfer

I meant from the old frame to the new one. All kimbers only have the frame serial numbered. I think most 1911's are frame only? Weird right?

How I was told and guess I deleted the conversation.

it originally had a aluminum frame. he sent it back to Kimber and had them replace it with a steel frame. I really am not a 1911 guy so that's all I know

Kimber had cracking issue on a few runs of the aluminum frames and when a customer calls them with a cracked frame, they will do steel or aluminum as far as replacement goes. Ive had a buddy that said it was at no cost to him to upgrade to the steel frame when he shipped it back, but then ive heard from another guy they charged him for that option...or at least tried to charge him! Things happen, but as long as they make it right in the end not too big a deal!
